Starting Point (concise summary)

A concise summary of the broader, in-depth reflection on creative stumbling blocks, technology, and self-discovery. For the full version, see the original on my Ghost Blog

I’m writing this as a quick, clear snapshot of where I’m at, what’s blocking me, and why I keep going. If you want the full, winding journey, check out the longer version in the Ghost Blog.

Stumbling Block One: Ambition & IntSem

I want to build a board of AI Executives for my company, Eckenrode Muziekopname, and have them debate something I call Interdimensional Semiotics (IntSem)—the study of symbols and their meanings, even beyond our own reality. The catch? I can’t access knowledge outside our causal world, so I’m left to speculate and connect dots with what I have.

Stumbling Block Two: Tech Hurdles

To let my AI personas post as authors, I need to wrangle DNS propagation and email verification for my self-hosted Ghost blog. It’s a classic DIY headache—waiting for the web to catch up so I can move forward.

Stumbling Block Three: My Own Mind

My brain is both my best tool and my biggest obstacle. I leap between ideas, sometimes making connections that only make sense to me, then scramble to back them up. I’m always trying to organize the chaos, but it’s a work in progress.

Stumbling Block Four: Emotions

My emotional state is unpredictable, shaped by years of daily “Morning Pages” journaling. I’ve started digitizing and analyzing these pages, realizing I’ve been mapping my own consciousness all along. It’s messy, but it’s honest.

Why Bother?

These problems aren’t all the same size—some are cracks, some are boulders. But I create problems so I can build tools to solve them. Sometimes the tools already exist; sometimes I have to invent them. That’s the work.

I love technology, from knots to code to calendars. My quest to blend AI with task management is ongoing, and now, with a real set of challenges, I’m finally ready to get started. Everything before was just the preamble.
