- i love this article so much.
- thought provoking article, and even though I am just sort of dashing off a little tiny marker that says I read it, I am sure that I will b chewing on this in the back of my brain as I move through whatever it is that I am going to be doing in the week ahead.
- Oh please say it is UFOs. Please. And th reason why we have this undercurrent is not just from all the Hollywood movies, but also the general ennui of current sates of affairs points towards Humans needing either an outside force to Deus ex Machina from ourselves or an outsid force to let ourselve throw off the social blockers of civilization that prevent us from acting on our base animalistic violence. We want to live in a blockbuster with explosions and special effects not a documentary with a calm slightly clipped narrator's voice.
- I like the idea of Writer's WEb that Dave has been talking about for a couple of days, and think it is a really solid thing. I am not so sure if WordPress as a 'part of the solution' is necessarily the full on step - I feel some of the interactons I have had with WP both the .org and the .com versionsof it seem a bit silo like in their need to manage the barriers which writers face towards publication. This is not to say that I have a fully formed idea for solving this at all, it is just that I think that WordPress and Firefox are both parties whose interests might currentliy align with Indie Web proponents but I can forsee some on both of their parts over time as the landscape changes yet again.
- There is an increasing drumbeat that I am perceiving in the news that comes across - fascism - and the use of AI and other Intelligence Agencies to advance its cause. Alarmist? I don't think so.
