Marginalia Commentary
- I love watching the World Cup, love the pagentry, the competition, the whole thing - hate the greedy business of Global Football and the way FIFA does nothing for the Localities which provide infrastructure and resources for the matches. This is not new. It should change.
- Sounds suspiciously like something that Microsoft would do.
- That phrase "learning first-hand" is supposed to be doing some work in there, however from my prspective learning is not something that DJT actually "does".
- "Sure, Sure, that sounds fantastic." hits different with different vocal inflections. [NOTE: I have no idea if that was the actual exchange, I am only saying that King Charles may in fact not have meant what the POTUS thought he mean.]
- it's almost as if he doesn't understand that other countries have their own Sovreignty to make decisions. He doesn't want to be Dictator of the USA, he wants to be Dictator of the World.
- I mean. The American tech stack has been dominating the wold in a really repulsive manner for a couple of decades by taking advantage of Openness in one direction only, setting up paywalls the other way.
- I remember CVS and Subversion pains. I am also aware of the Github is slipping track record of the past few years. Currently contemplating my little tiny personal projects going elsewhere.
- I ran some code production through codx a few times and the way it had a habit of referring to goblins very very frequently was unnerving as a style choice - i thought it was only me.
